Get ready for a fun-filled festival celebrating art, science, polar exploration and Scottish cultural heritage all centred around the fascinating world of whales and Scotland's links to the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia!

Dundee will come alive with exciting events along the waterfront, at Discovery Point and at V&A Dundee. There's something for everyone in the family to enjoy, from hands-on activities to inspiring talks by explorers, artists and scientists.

You will also be able to check out the Whaler Memory Bank, a special, interactive digital time capsule where veterans of the whaling industry, their families, and communities have been sharing their stories and memories with the world. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate together and hear their stories from their time on the other side of the world in the sub-Antarctic.
