Top young Scottish musicians, including Kimberley Tessa and kitti, to star in four day festival from 13-16 November.

Tayside music fans can look forward to the return of the Dundee Jazz Festival, running 13–16 November. For over forty years, the festival has brought a warm, vibrant celebration of jazz to the heart of Dundee, showcasing top local, national, and international talent.

This year’s line-up highlights emerging Scottish stars, including vocalist kitti with big-band arrangements from her debut album, and Fergus McCreadie Trio on their UK tour. Local talents Kimberley Tessa and Susan McCathie debut new projects, while pianist Ben Shankland and saxophonist Harben Kay team up for their first Dundee collaboration.

International highlights include New York steel pan virtuoso Jonathan Scales and acclaimed guitarist Lorne Lofsky. For those looking to dance, Conjunto Malecon brings Latin flair on Saturday night, and DJ Rebecca Vasmant kicks off Friday with a late-night party at new venue Canvas.

Big band fans can catch both the Tayside Big Band and the Dundee University Big Band, joined by saxophonist Matt Carmichael. The weekend also features a variety of smaller gigs and community events across the city, with something for everyone. Tickets are £8 for students across the festival and range between £8 - £18 for General Admission.

With support from Creative Scotland, the festival provides a meeting point on Tayside for festival-goers, live music fans and local residents to enjoy four days celebrating music and community across Dundee.
