What's On - Patchwork for Beginners - The Magic of Triangles

Learn ways to create half-square triangle blocks, then sew these together to make your own design. Have a go at quilting your patchwork and then you could turn it into a lovely cushion cover or table mat if you wish or make some more at home and turn it into a quilt!

Patchwork is a great way to use up scraps and a wide range of fabrics can be used so it's a good way of recycling and upcycling!

Materials will be provided, but you're welcome to bring any fabric you wish to incorporate into your creation.

Lunch will not be provided but we will stop for a short break. There are nearby shops and we have microwave and hot water facilities. Light refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is open to anyone over the age of 12, though 12 - 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
