What's On - Gilbert's Adventures Through Books

A unique adventure starring you and your wee one! This is an interactive workshop for under 5s and their grown-ups. It’s much more than a dance class...it’s about building magical worlds together and sparking your wee one’s curiosity, and a love for reading and dancing!

Gilbert is the Guardian of the Books. He’s read EVERY book in the universe! He loves nothing more than embarking upon an epic adventure through his books! Who will he meet next? Will be it some dinosaurs? Or maybe he’ll fly on a broomstick? Why don’t you join him on his next adventure?

Performance is at the centre of Gilbert’s Adventures Through Books so there is theatrical lighting, props, costumes and music...and of course, there’s dancing too!

Led by PJ Hurst, who played the much-loved Petey the Polar Bear from our Snow Queen show, this is 45 minutes of imagination sparking fun through books and dance.

There is a social cafe afterwards for wee one and big ones to celebrate their adventure
