What's On - High School Spring Concert

You are warmly invited to our Spring Concert in the Caird Hall on Tuesday 01 April at 19.00. The concert is held in aid of The High School of Dundee Music Instrument Fund, used among other things to help the school acquire necessary instruments for the pupils to use in their individual lesson and practice, and in our bands and orchestras. Highlights of the concert include items from our Massed Pipe Bands, pop songs ranging from ‘Lean On Me’ via ‘Sir Duke’ to Taylor Swift, as well as music from the films ‘Titanic’, ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Lion King’, and from the musicals ‘Wicked’ and ‘Sweeney Todd’. In addition, there will be performances of two favourite overtures by Beethoven and several rousing pieces. It will be an evening for everyone to enjoy!
