For works requiring a TTRO please download and complete the TTRO information sheet and return it to the postal address or email addresses at the bottom of the page.

• For TTRO's up to 5 working days we required 4 weeks' notice to allow for processing and notification and the cost of the TTRO application is £400.
• For TTRO's longer than 5 working days we require 6 weeks' notice to allow for processing and notification and the cost of the TTRO application is £925.

Each application will also require a plan showing the extent of the closure, the proposed diversion route, and the traffic management details.

Tower Cranes where any part of the crane (jib, counterweight etc) oversails the Public Road at any point during operation requires a licence from the Roads Authority. Applicants must complete the form and submit with requisite payment to the address given on the form.

Any person depositing a skip on a public road without the permission of the Roads Authority commits an offence.

2023/2024 Charges - £61 per day or £176 for up to one month.

Any person occupying any part of any public road for building operations without the permission of the Roads Authority commits an offence.

2023/2024 Charges - £121 per day or £286 for up to one month or £440 per month (over 12 months)
