The Sustainable Transport & Roads service is responsible for ensuring the safe movement of goods and people allowing for economic and social development within the City. As part of this responsibility the service undertakes management and maintenance of the Council’s transport assets which include vehicles, roads, street lighting, car parks and traffic signals, to ensure safe and efficient access to users.
