    closed from its westmost end (in cul-de-sac) extending for a distance of no more than 20 metres in an easterly direction to facilitate a site access for a new housing development until November 2025. 

  • Constitution Road (from its junction with Bell Street to North Marketgait)  

    closed until September 2025 for redevelopment of multi‑storey car park and adjoining areas. 

  • Earl Grey Place West (South Crichton Street west for 50m)  

    closed until March 2025 for facilitating construction works. 

  • Blinshall Street (Douglas Street to 50 metres south)  

    closed until December 2024 for construction works.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
