  • Perth Road (West Wynd to Seafield Road)

    closed on Sunday 28 July for manhole repairs.

  • Foggyley Gardens

    closed Monday 5 August for 2 days for road surfacing from Wiston Place for 162m northwards.  Done in 2 separate phases, access maintained for residents.

  • Bath Street, Broughty Ferry

    closed on Monday 5 August for 3 weeks for footway works.

  • Ferndale Drive, Broughty Ferry

    closed from Monday 12 August in 2 phases for carriageway resurfacing works.

  • Kirsty Semple Way

    closed on Saturday 17 August for crane lifting operations.


Roads - General

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
