Parking Charges Update
Dundee City Council Residents Parking Schemes were introduced in 1977 in response to specific difficulties which existed in the Broughty Ferry and City Centre areas. The Menzieshill scheme was introduced in 2003. Under the terms of the scheme, applications for Residents Parking Permits will be considered from occupiers of residential houses or flats covered within the Traffic Regulation Orders for Residents Parking Schemes.
The amount payable for a Penalty Charge Notice is £100.
If paid within 14 days of the issue date, the penalty charge is discounted to £50.
If payment is made by post, please allow for postal delays.
Dispensation is permission to park where parking would normally be restricted or chargeable.
You need permission in advance if your business or organisation needs to park in contravention of parking restrictions for an extended period of time where parking is restricted. (e.g. yellow lines, loading bays etc.)
