Damaged barrier replacement

Work to replace barriers damaged in a collision means restrictions for drivers using the Tay Road Bridge later this month.

While the bridge will remain open in both directions when work starts on October 28, lane restrictions will be in place consecutively in both directions.

Work will begin at the Fife end of the bridge closing one lane south (Fife) bound, followed by one lane northbound. All restrictions should be removed after ten days.

To minimise disruption most of the work will take place off-peak or overnight where possible.

Warning signs and a reduced speed limit will be in place.
