What's On - Dundee Bus Fest

Get ready for a fantastic day of buses, transport and heritage at Dundee Bus Fest!

We’re delighted to be working with Angus Transport Group and individual owners to bring together an incredible collection of buses from every era and from across the UK. Whether you’re a lifelong bus enthusiast or simply curious to see some of these amazing vehicles up close, there will be plenty to discover.
There will be shuttle buses running from the city centre to the museum, making it easy to join the fun. Angus Transport Group will also be offering free hourly trips on vintage buses, travelling to different locations around Dundee and giving you the chance to experience these vehicles out on the road.

The museum will be open throughout the event, so make sure you take the opportunity to explore our Oor Trams exhibition too.
And there’s an extra reason to visit: this is one of your last chances to visit us at our current museum. We’ll be closing our doors on 31 October 2026 as we begin the next chapter of our story, before reopening in October 2027 at our brand-new home at Maryfield Tram Depot.

Dundee Bus Fest is included in our standard museum admission price, so come along, explore the museum, see the buses and enjoy a brilliant day celebrating our transport heritage.
