We're delighted that our new exhibition has opened in DCA Galleries.

France-Lise McGurn: The Charm Offensive is the most significant presentation of the Scottish artist's work in a UK institution to date, filling both our galleries with paintings, drawings, furniture, objects and ephemera from McGurn's studio.

Having studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), the show marks McGurn's return to Dundee and a significant evolution of her practice. Paint spills from the canvas to the walls, and paintings created in the studio have a new life creating a site-specific installation.

Information published by Leisure and Culture Dundee.

McGurn's work captures the darkly comic charge of contemporary urban life in ways that feel both deeply personal and broadly resonant. Balancing immediacy with emotional depth, the installation evokes lived experience while interrogating how desire is constructed, constrained and performed.

DCA Galleries are open Tuesday - Sunday, 11:00 - 18:00. Open late on Thursdays until 19:00
