Did you miss us? We're counting down to Mills Observatory's winter season reopening on Wednesday 1st October, but we just couldn't wait that long!

Join us for a special one-off evening event under the stars: Summer Stars at Mills Observatory. Weather permitting, you'll have the chance to view Saturn, Neptune (the furthest planet from the Sun!), and the stunning Summer Triangle - made up of the bright stars Vega, Altair, and Deneb.

Optimal viewing expected after 10pm but we'll start as soon as conditions allow.

If the skies don't cooperate, don't worry - we'll host fascinating talks in our lecture room, where our amateur astronomer will guide you through the wonders of the summer night sky.

Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or just curious, this is a perfect way to spend a late summer evening. Come along, bring your curiosity, and experience the magic of Mills after dark!
