What's On - Design, Dance, Play: Interactive Game Projects

Experience the creativity and fun of two live projects from Abertay Game Lab, where play meets design Game Designer invites you to become a game creator, experimenting with layouts, rules and mechanics to shape your ideal mini golf course.

This interactive experience lets people come together to create, adapt and play on their own mini-golf course inside the museum, encouraging budding game designers to think about the power of play and experimentation within the design process.

Dance Floor Memories is a playful installation that brings nostalgic dancefloor moments to life. Spill your secrets in the sound booth of friendships formed through club culture and unlock past dancefloor memories from others. Your stories will become part of the games evolving soundtrack to form a picture of the importance of night life and the everlasting bonds it can make.

With interactive elements for all ages, this display offers a fun, accessible way to get stuck into game design and the power of play.
