What's On - DSSA Dance Festival

"The annual Dundee Secondary Schools Dance Festival is back – but this time it is bigger than ever!

Pupils will take to the Caird Hall stage for this festival, organised by the Active Schools team.

The Dance Leaders and pupils have been working hard on their choreography in rehearsals. We have 8 secondary schools involved in this years event as well as performances from Kingspark School.

The Festival will take place on Wednesday 26th March at 6pm and we will be welcoming back our host Archie Turnbull (pupil from Morgan Academy) after doing such a great job last year.

There will be trophies up for grabs in both Contemporary and Street competition categories. We have also introduced a new competition category "Around The World" so we can't wait to see what the pupils bring to this! For any groups not wishing to compete, they are still able to choose our performance only category, opening our festival up to any level of ability and making it inclusive to all.

We have performances from various schools in Dundee and a few special guest performances have been invited along to join us on the night too!

It's going to be another amazing show so don't miss out!
