Leon McCawley is one of the UK's leading classical pianists with appearances at major concert venues in London, New York, Washington D.C. and the Far East. He is a frequent performer at the Wigmore Hall and the Southbank Centre and is regularly to be heard playing, and speaking, on Radio 3. He has played concertos with many orchestras both here and abroad and has served on a number of juries for major international music competitions, including the BBC Young Musician of the Year. His extensive discography has been rewarded with a large number of accolades and awards. He is a Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music.
