We're excited to welcome Fèis Rois back to HMS Unicorn for a ceilidh on board the ship!

Based in Dingwall, Fèis Rois is widely recognised as a national leader in the traditional arts, particularly in music education. The organisation aims to give young people and lifelong learners the opportunity to experience and engage with traditional music and Gaelic culture in a way that supports them in developing their social skills and inspires them to reach their full potential.

Fèis Rois is excited to bring back its Ceilidh Trail, a paid summer job and professional development opportunity for outstanding young traditional musicians. The young musicians spend the summer playing music, travelling throughout Scotland and beyond, and gain experience playing for just about every kind of gig under the sun! Enjoy some of the most exciting up-and-coming young musicians from Ross-Shire and across Scotland as they come together to perform for the first time since 2019.

Bring your family, friends and dancing shoes for this ceilidh on board Scotland's oldest ship!

All children must be accompanied by an adult. This event takes place on HMS Unicorn's upper deck, which is on accessible via ladderway.
