Faraday Street will be closed on:

 

  • Friday 15 August between 2.00pm and midnight;

 

  • Saturday 16 August between 10.00am and midnight; and

 

  • Sunday 17 August between 8.00am and 9.00pm.

Kingsway West slip roads closed

eastbound slip roads (to and from A923 Coupar Angus Road) and westbound slip roads (to and from Kingsway/Kingsway West) closed between 3.00pm and midnight on Friday 15 August.

 

A 30mph speed restriction will be in force at the following locations:

 

  • A923 Coupar Angus Road between its junction with Templeton Road and its junction with Camperdown Park entrance/Dayton Drive from 2.00pm on Friday 15 August until 9.00pm on Sunday 17 August; and

     

  • Kingsway between Strathmartine Road and Myrekirk Road for the duration of the 3 events.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
