closed to pedestrians (between Rosebank Road and Arthur Street) until Tuesday 31 March 2026 for ongoing housing development works and boundary wall issues.

Law Access Road

closed from public toilets/turning area to Law summit until Friday 27 February for conservation works.

Dykes of Gray Road 

full road closure commencing Monday 2 February 2026 for installation of new sewer for new housing development.  The road will be closed between Nethergray Entry and Denhead of Gray Road.  Diversions will be in place for both northbound and southbound traffic.  Local diversions will also be in place.  Access to Denhead of Gray Road will be maintained at all times using temporary traffic lights.

closed for one week for environmental improvement work.

temporary traffic lights for 2 weeks for Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution work.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
