  • Noran Avenue (Craigie Avenue to Arbroath Road) – closed Friday 31 October for 5 weeks; and

 

  • Gannochie Terrace (Arbroath Road to Carlochie Place) – closed from Monday 8 December for 2 weeks.

Gleneagles Avenue (from its junction with Gleneagles Road to a point approximately 40 metres north of its junction with Hoylake Avenue)

Riverside Avenue and Dykes of Gray Road

closed each evening between 7.00pm and 7.00am only from Monday 3 November until Saturday 8 November for carriageway resurfacing works.  Areas affected are:

 

  • Riverside Avenue from its junction with Kingsway/Swallow Roundabout for a distance of 500 metres or thereby in a southerly direction to its junction with Apollo Way; and

 

  • Dykes of Gray Road for a distance of 100 metres or thereby in a northerly direction from its junction with Kingsway/Swallow Roundabout.

off-peak (9.30am to 3.30pm) temporary traffic lights from Monday 3 November for one week for Scottish Water work.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
