Schools Industrial Action Suspended

All Dundee schools and nurseries will remain open as normal after the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) suspended planned strike action.

The union had previously said it would be taking strike action in Dundee schools and nurseries on Wednesday 18th March and Tuesday 24th March, as well as Action Short of Strike Action from Monday 16th March.

However, following a national agreement being reached in a Scotland-wide dispute relating to Reduction in Class Contact Time (RCCT), the planned industrial action in Dundee and other local authorities will not take place.

We apologise for any disruption and uncertainty this may have caused to pupils, families and carers.
