I QUALITY OF LIFE FUNDING 2004/05 AND 2005/06 - SUBMISSION TO SCOTTISH EXECUTIVE

 

On a reference to Article II of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 20th January, 2003, there was submitted Report No 352-2003 by the Chief Executive relative to Quality of Life Funding over the financial years 2004/05 and 2005/06.

 

The Committee:-

 

(i)approved the Quality of Life submissions for 2004/05 and 2005/06 as detailed in Appendix A of the report;

 

(ii)instructed the Director of Finance to ensure that the Council's Quality of Life submission was made to the Scottish Executive on 1 July, 2003;

 

(iii)noted that provisions of 1.807m and 2.098m for Quality of Life would be included in the Provisional Revenue Budgets for 2004/05 and 2005/06 respectively; and

 

(iv)instructed Chief Officers to bring forward reports to the appropriate Committees on the implementation of the 2003/04 Quality of Life projects, having now received approval of the Council's submission from the Scottish Executive.
