I REVENUE BUDGET 2003/04 - HOUSING REVENUE ACCOUNT
There was submitted Report No 56-2003 by the Director of Finance relative to the above.
The Committee agreed the 2003/04 Revenue Budget for the Housing Revenue Account and remitted to the Housing Committee to set the 2003/04 rent levels.
II SUBMISSION TO SCOTTISH EXECUTIVE - QUALITY OF LIFE FUND
There was submitted Report No 67-2003 by the Chief Executive relative to the proposed use of the Quality of Life monies for the financial years 2003/04 to 2005/06.
The Committee:-
(a) agreed the Quality of Life submissions for 2003/04 as detailed in Appendix A to the report.
(b) agreed to advise the Scottish Executive that provisionally the Council would intend to allocate the 2004/05 and 2005/06 as undernoted:-

(c) instructed the Chief Executive to ensure that the Council's Quality of Life submission was made to the Scottish Executive by 20th February 2003.
(d) noted that a provision of 1.524m for Quality of Life had been included in the Provisional 2003/04 Revenue Budget.
(e) Instructed Chief Officers to bring forward reports to the appropriate Committees on the implementation of the 2003/04 Quality of Life projects, following approval of the submission from the Scottish Executive.
III TAYSIDE FIRE BOARD AND TAYSIDE JOINT POLICE BOARD
There was submitted Report No 77-2003 by the Director of Support Services regarding changes to the Constitution of Tayside Fire Board and Tayside Joint Board.
It was remitted to Dundee Members on the Tayside Fire Board and Tayside Joint Police Board to ask the Fire Board and the Joint Police Board at their meetings on 27th January 2003 to agree to send the letters appended to this report to the Right Honourable Jim Wallace QC MSP Minister for Justice and in the event of the Board's not agreeing to letters being sent the Committee agreed that letters be sent by the Chief Executive.
