Community Involvement
The Council must keep a current list of notifications (32KB MS Word doc) and a list of held and prohibited processions (284KB MS Word doc). These arrangements are to allow the public to find out which marches happen regularly and which ones are likely to happen in the future in order that they can make representations if they wish to.
Should you wish to make representations to any of the notifications on the proposed list, please do so by email to licensing.board@dundeecity.gov.uk alternatively by post to the Head of Democratic & Legal Services, 21 City Square, Dundee, DD1 3BY. Representations must be lodge within 14 days of the date of receipt of the notification.

Organisers of processions need to give 28 days notice.
- Download a Notice of Proposal to Hold a Public Procession notification form (72KB PDF)
- Download Conditions for a Public Procession
- If your event is to start or finish in City Square, download a Notice of Proposal to Hold a Public Procession and Use of City Square notification form (76KB PDF)
- If your event includes a road closure then you must apply for a TTRO and a fee is required, for more information you will need to contact either Mark Cobb or Andy Scrimgeour by email : mark.cobb@dundeecity.gov.uk or andy.scrimgeour@dundeecity.gov.uk
Just to make everyone aware the police will not be providing any officers to help at public processions anymore. It will be up to the organisers to make arrangements.
