DCC Building Standards follow a risk-based approach to site inspections based on a Nationally approved model. As a result you will receive a tailor-made inspection plan CCNP, where we will endeavour to inspect and verify key element of the build.
Once a Building Warrant is approved, work may start on site. Please note however, that you are required to inform the Service that site works have started. Form J, Notice Regarding Start of Work, is included in the Building Warrant documents sent to you. You should also notify the service of all inspections set out in the CCNP.
