Engage Dundee 2026 launches

The Dundee Partnership is asking the people of Dundee to share their experiences in everyday life as part of a major new survey.

The Engage Dundee consultation process looks to identify what is going well, the challenges people may be facing, the support needed and what should be prioritised in the next ten-year long City Plan.

The survey has been developed with the support of Dundee City Council, Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Tayside, and local people.

The information provided by participants is strictly confidential and covers an array of topics including cost of living, health and wellbeing, communities, neighbourhoods, local environment, belonging and housing.

In addition to informing the development of the City Plan, feedback from Engage Dundee will also help the Council understand Dundee citizens' priorities ahead of the Council setting its budget for 2027/28.

The survey begins today (Monday 21^st September) and will run for six weeks. The survey can be completed online or via paper copy available from local community centres or libraries.

Council Leader Cllr Mark Flynn, chair of the Dundee Partnership Forum, said: “The information collected through this process is invaluable and really helps us to prioritise in the areas that can provide the greatest benefit to our communities.

“The new City Plan will shape Dundee for the next decade and impact on key issues such as housing, communities, health and wellbeing, and our neighbourhoods. For that reason, it is crucial we gather responses from as many people throughout Dundee as we can.

“Hearing people’s concerns and priorities is also important as we prepare to make difficult decisions on how our limited resources are allocated in the next Council budget.

“I would urge everyone in the city to take part by filling out the questionnaire, telling us what they value most in their area and what they would like to see change for the better.”

The survey can be completed online at Engage Dundee or as a paper copy at the city’s community centres or libraries.
