Riverside Esplanade/Riverside Drive (Tay Road Bridge off ramp to 75m along Riverside Drive)

westbound nearside lane closure from for 26 weeks to facilitate V&A construction works.

SSE Glenagnes Cable Renewal

Lochee Road lane restrictions and closures on Blinshall Street, Fleuchar Street and Scott Street for 9 weeks.

Finavon Street (Fintry Road to Fintry Drive) and Fintry Road (Fintry Drive for 35m south)

Finavon Street will be closed in several sections, one section at a time, for 21 weeks for facilitating works for a new housing development.

Claypotts Road

closed between Duntrune Terrace and Balgillo Road for 3 weeks for gas main renewal.

Clepington Road (Provost Road to Arklay Street)

closed eastbound until Wednesday 24 May for Scottish Water mains renewal works.

Queen Street, Broughty Ferry (Camphill Road to St Vincent Street)

off-peak (9.30am - 3.30pm) temporary traffic control for 3 weeks for footway works.

Strathmartine Road (Park Road to Camperdown Road)

closed in 2 phases for 15 weeks for gas main renewal.

West Victoria Dock Road (South Marketgait - south for 65 metres)

closed southbound on Friday 2 June for Scottish Water manhole repair.

Carlochie Place (Greendykes Road to Auchrannie Terrace)

closed from Monday 5 June for 5 days for gas service connection.

Eliza Street (Catherine Street to Dura Street)

closed from Sunday 11 June for 5 days for BT cable work.

Gourdie Brae (Liff Hospital Road to A923 Coupar Angus Road

closed from Monday 12 June for 5 days for sewer repair.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
