Old Hawkhill

road closed from approximately 50m south of Hunter Street (building defect) from 9 October 2025 for approximately 3 - 6 months.

Constitution Road (from its junction with Bell Street to North Marketgait)

closed until Monday 8 December 2025 for redevelopment of multi‑storey car park and adjoining areas.

Rose Lane      

closed to pedestrians (between Rosebank Road and Arthur Street) until Tuesday 31 March 2026 for ongoing housing development works and boundary wall issues.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.

Please note the information provided is current as of the Friday prior to the report date and is subject to change at any time.  Any updates after publication on Fridays are indicated in bold.
