At a MEETING of the POLICY AND RESOURCES COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 22nd January, 2001.

I REVENUE BUDGET 2001/2001 - HOUSING REVENUE ACCOUNT

There was submitted Report No. 48-2001 by the Director of Finance seeking approval of the 2001/2001 Revenue Budget for the Housing Revenue Account.

The Committee:-

(i) agreed the 2001/2002 Revenue Budget for the Housing Revenue Account appended to the report; and

(ii) remitted consideration of the approved 2001/2002 Housing Revenue Budget to a special meeting of the Housing Committee in order that it may set the 2001/2002 rent levels.

II MODERNISING GOVERNMENT FUND - THE DEVELOPMENT OF DUNDEE.COM

On a reference to Article III of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 25th September 2000, there was submitted Report No. 50-2001 by the Director of Arts and Heritage and Director of Personnel and Management Services reporting on Dundee City Council's successful bid to the Scottish Executive's Modernising Government Fund to develop dundee.com - an internet portal for Dundee.

The Committee approved the undernoted:-

(i) Noted the successful Modernising Government Fund Bid for dundee.com.

(ii) Agreed to the development of partnering arrangements with Scotland On Line, following the partner selection process outlined in this report, and remitted to the Director of Arts and Heritage and Director of Support Services to negotiate a detailed partnership agreement.

In addition it was recommended to the Personnel and Management Services Committee that the undernoted post be established:-

dundee.com Project Manager Post (2 years fixed term) graded PO1-4 (22,749 - 24,735) funded from within the Modernising Government Bid.
