I HM INSPECTORATE OF EDUCATION - INSPECTION OF ADDITIONAL SUPPORT NEEDS PROVISION - CASTLEPARK OFF-SITE LEARNINGCENTRE
There was submitted and noted report relative to the above.
II HM INSPECTORATE OF EDUCATION - WHITFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL INSPECTION
There was submitted and noted report relative to the above.
III TENDERS RECEIVED
There was submitted Report No 601-2008 by the City Architectural Services Officer detailing tenders received and requesting a decision thereon:-
(i) ST PAUL'S RC ACADEMY - REMOVAL OF FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
The Committee agreed to accept the offer from Dundee Removal Services under a partnering project for 123,900, together with an allowance of 6,000 for professional services, making a total expenditure of 129,900.
(ii) ST NINIAN'S RC PRIMARY SCHOOL - ADMINISTRATION BLOCK RE-ROOFING
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer with Dundee Contract Services for 43,606.14, together with allowances of 735 for CDM Co-ordinator and 6,214 for professional services, making a total expenditure of 50,555.14.
IV SCHOOL TERMS AND HOLIDAYS 2009/2010
There was submitted Report No 549-2008 by the Director of Education seeking approval of the scheme for school terms and holidays for Session 2009/2010.
The Committee agreed to adopt the scheme relative to the above for Session 2009/2010 as detailed in Appendix I of the report noted below:-

V PROVISON OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO VOLUNTARY SECTOR PARTNERS
There was submitted Report No 581-2008 by the Director of Education seeking approval to provide funding to voluntary sector partners for the continued delivery of childcare services.

VI KINGSPARK SCHOOL REPLACEMENT
There was submitted Report No 596-2008 by the Director of Education and City Architectural Services Officer detailing tenders received relative to the above and requesting a decision thereon.
The Committee agreed to accept the Agreed Maximum Price submitted by Muirfield (Contracts) Ltd, Dundee in the amount of 13,005,732.12 and allowances amounting to 1,907,256.00, giving a total cost of 14,912,988.12.
