I TENDERS RECEIVED
The City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 98-2008 giving details of offers received for the undernoted contracts:-
(a) SECURITY OF PROPERTIES 2008/2011 (THREE YEARS)
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer by Profile Security Services Ltd amounting to 574,544.36, to which required to be added professional services of 10,000, making a total expenditure of 584,544.36.
(b) DISCOVER OPPORTUNITIES CENTRE, CRICHTON STREET - ALTERATIONS - PHASES 2 AND 3
The Committee agreed to accept a partnering project with Forman Construction Ltd at an agreed maximum price of 56,000, to which required to be added allowances of 16,118 for contingencies, building warrant, CDM Co-ordinator and professional services, giving a total of 72,118.
The Committee noted that Forman Construction Ltd had listed the undernoted sub-contractors:-

The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
II COMMERCIAL LEASES
There was submitted and approved Report No 89-2008 by the Director of Economic Development detailing a commercial lease in respect of 24 Craigie Avenue, Dundee.
III RENT REVIEWS
There was submitted and approved Report No 90-2008 by the Director of Economic Development detailing a rent review in respect of 22 Craigie Avenue, Dundee.
IV PROPOSED SALE OF LAND ADJACENT TO 3 BRANTWOOD AVENUE, DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 73-2008 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of 0.0144 hectares of land adjacent to 3 Brantwood Avenue, Dundee.
The Committee approved the sale on the terms and conditions detailed in the report.
V PROPOSED SALE OF LAND ADJACENT TO 135 BYRON STREET, DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 79-2008 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of 0.0153 hectares of land adjacent to the gable of 135 Byron Street, Dundee.
The Committee approved the sale on the terms and conditions detailed in the report.
VI PROPOSED SALE OF LAND TO THE GABLE AND REAR OF 30 ANTON DRIVE, BROUGHTY FERRY, DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 94-2008 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of 0.0069 hectares of land to the gable and rear of 30 Anton Drive, Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
The Committee approved the sale on the terms and conditions detailed in the report.
