I PUBLIC SPACE CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
There was submitted Report No 588-2007 by the Director of Economic Development requesting approval for the letting of a contract for the provision of a digital video storage system.
The Committee agreed that a contract should be let to BT Redcare at a cost of 119,414.
II TENDERS RECEIVED
(a) CORNER PROJECT AND SHORE TERRACE BUILDING - HEATING REPLACEMENT
There was submitted Report No 646-2007 by the City Architectural Services Officer detailing tenders relative to the above.
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer from Taylor Mechanical Services Ltd in the sum of 98,466.73, to which required to be added allowances of 21,215.20 for Gas Connection Charges, CDM Co-ordinator and professional services, giving a total cost of 119,681.93.
The Committee noted that Taylor Mechanical Services Ltd listed the undernoted sub-contractors:-

The Convener agreed that the undernoted item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No 17(b) in view of the timescales involved.
(b) CITY SQUARE UNDERGROUND CAR PARK - NEW STEELWORK AND REMEDIAL WORKS
There was submitted Report No 631-2007 by the City Engineer detailing tenders relative to the above.
The Committee approved acceptance of the lowest offer from Torith Ltd in the sum of 270,753.89, to which required to be added allowances of 115,000 for decorative painting of steelwork, contingencies, public utilities - alterations to existing services, professional fees and CDM Co-ordinator, giving a total cost of 385,753.89.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.
III COMMERCIAL LEASES
There was submitted and approved Report No 620-2007 by the Director of Economic Development detailing commercial leases in respect of the undernoted property:-
Unit 2, Dunsinane Avenue.
IV RENT REVIEWS
There was submitted and approved Report No 621-2007 by the Director of Economic Development detailing rent reviews in respect of the undernoted properties:-
133 Pitkerro Road/145 Kingsway East
24 Craigie Avenue
3.73 hectares, Graham Street.
V PROPOSED SALE OF LAND ADJOINING 19 PITRODDIE GARDENS, DUNDEE
There was submitted Report No 645-2007 by the Director of Economic Development seeking approval for the sale of ground adjoining 19 Pitroddie Gardens.
The Committee approved the sale of ground extending to 0.00638 ha or thereby, on the terms and conditions detailed in the report.
