I TENDERS RECEIVED

 

The City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 418-2001 giving details of offers received for the undernoted contracts:-

 

(a) WATSON STREET/WELLGATE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS - UPGRADING AND REMEDIAL WORKS

 

The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer by Dundee Contract Services amounting to 1,993,041.63 to which required to be added the undernoted allowances making a total expenditure of 2,858,392.63:-

(b) BROUGHTY FERRY 3RD DEVELOPMENT - ROOF RENEWALS PHASE 1

 

The Committee agreed to accept the negotiated offer by Dundee Contract Services amounting to 62,000 to which required to be added an allowance of 7,495 for professional services making a total expenditure of 69,495.00

 

(c) DALLFIELD MSD LIFT CAR REPLACEMENT

 

The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer by Thyssen Lifts & Escalators Ltd amounting to 853,240 to which required to be added an allowance of 33,640 for professional services making a total expenditure of 886,880.00.

 

The Committee also noted that the undernoted Sub-Contractors had been listed by Thyssen Lifts & Escalators Ltd:-

II DALLFIELD MSD - LANDLORD SUPPLIES - EXTENSION TO CONTRACT

 

On a reference to Article V(c) of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 16th April 2001 the City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 419-2001 requesting approval to extend the existing contract.

 

The Committee agreed to the extension of the existing contract and authorised additional expenditure of approximately 114,000.

 

III ST MARY'S 10TH DEVELOPMENT - 1-7 ST CLEMENT'S TERRACE - ROOF REPAIRS - EXTENSIONTO CONTRACT

 

On a reference to Article V(a) of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 16th April 2001 the City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 428-2001 requesting approval to extend the existing contract.

 

The Committee agreed to the extension of the existing contract and authorised additional expenditure of approximately 14,000.

 

IV BRACKENS DEVELOPMENT (FLATS) - HEATING INSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL UPGRADING - EXTENSIONTO CONTRACT

 

On a reference to Article V(e) of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 16th April 2001 the City Architectural Services Officer submitted Report No 429-2001 requesting approval to extend the existing contract.

 

The Committee agreed to the extension of the existing contract and authorised additional expenditure of approximately 45,000.
