The Children and Families Service places children, young people and their families at the heart of the decision making process to provide them with the best possible start in life.

Children and Families Service provide and manage the following service areas:

• Education Services
• Children's and Community Justice Social Work
• Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) 
• Child Protection
