The Met Office has issued weather warnings for very strong winds affecting the city.
Services at this time are subject to disruption. Read the following webpage and follow the Dundee City Council social media channels for updates on our services via Twitter/X Facebook and Whatsapp.
Schools
All local authority nursery, primary and secondary schools will be closed on Friday 24th January 2025. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety of our young people and staff, particularly as they could be travelling home at the peak of the storm at the end of the school day. Families will be contacted directly by their school about home learning for Friday. Arrangements are being made for free school meal payments to be made directly to qualifying households.
