ECO Stars Dundee member: Clipper Logistics 4*

Clipper Logistics Group specialises  in pan European retail and high value logistics, Clipper has unrivalled  fashion  and general merchandise logistics expertise including  retail store logistics,  e-fulfilment, port deconsolidation, pre-retail consolidation centres, high secure and bonded operations. With 32 sites (incl. 5 in Germany), with over 5 million square  foot of warehousing space  over 400 vehicles - 15 of which are registered with ECO Stars in Dundee -  and a workforce of 3000, Clipper has the size and ability to tackle any project and the agility to quickly respond to customers changing requirements.

Clipper Group was the first organisation to join the original South Yorkshire ECO Stars scheme in early 2009, playing an integral role in the initial launch. They are now members of other schemes including Dundee, Edinburgh and Falkirk, achieving a Four Star rating for their vehicles based in their East Kilbride Distribution Centre.  Richard Ball – Head of Transport said  "Clipper is proud to be a part of the ECO Stars initiative, which provides a fantastic opportunity to refine environmental business practice, reinforces our ongoing commitment to become more environmentally aware and an increasingly efficient operator."
