% of Looked After Children with > one placement in the last year

This figure is published one year in arrears as part of the LGBF publication.  Unfortunately there had been more moves again in 2021-22 after the figure reduced due to COVID restrictions and delays in the system following lockdowns.  

While a stable placement is the desired outcome for all looked after children there can be good reasons why a child or young person moves placement, for instance when they return home from a foster placement or when they move from an interim to a permanent foster care placement.
