Average duration to respond to complaints at stage 1

The Council has a complaints system to manage complaints made to it. It follows the model complaints handling procedure developed by the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.

We aim to respond in 5 working days as soon as we receive a complaint although some can become quite complex and take longer.
