Update: St Pius X RC Nursery and Primary School

The Council has today updated parents and carers on the next steps following the School Closure Review Panel’s decision regarding St Pius X RC Primary School and Nursery.
After careful consideration of the report, the Council has decided not to lodge an appeal against the Panel’s decision.
This means that the school and nursery will remain open.
Enrolments for Primary 1 at St Pius go live today (Monday 15 December). Parents and carers can find out more about P1 enrolment on our website.
Enrolment applications should be submitted by 2 February 2026.
