Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services

Dundee City Council has announced the appointment of Tony Boyle as its Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services.
Mr Boyle, who is currently Head of Environment within the service, has been with Dundee City Council since 2018.
He has had a lengthy career in local government working for Glasgow City Council for over thirty years before making the move to Dundee City Council.
The Council’s Neighbourhood Services is responsible for the Communities, Safety and Protection, Environment, and Housing and Construction divisions.
Mr Boyle said: “It is a great privilege to be taking on this role as Executive Director. I look forward to continuing our delivery of vital services to a high standard for the people of Dundee who rely upon them on a daily basis.”
Climate, Environment & Biodiversity Convener Cllr Heather Anderson said of the news: “I warmly congratulate Tony on his appointment to the position of directorship.
He has always worked incredibly hard on behalf of the city and is highly respected. I have no doubt he will continue to carry out great work for the city in his new position.”
