Secondary School Industrial Action Information

Due to planned national Industrial Action on Thursday December 8 by both SSTA and NASUWT unions, Dundee secondary schools will be open only to S5 and S6 pupils that day.

Council primary schools, early years settings, Kingspark and Rockwell Learning Centre will remain open to all pupils on Thursday.

Individual secondary schools may have some S4 pupils attending where staffing allows, and direct contact will be made with families about details.

Industrial action is being taken by members of the SSTA and NASUWT unions over national pay negotiations.

Arrangements are being made for free school meal payments to be made directly to qualifying households.

All secondary schools will be open to all pupils on Friday December 9.
