The Community Empowerment Team work with individuals and groups to build stronger communities and reduce inequalities. 

Community Capacity Building

It really makes me think we can do whatever we want, and have support to get there.We'll need support from you guys to do this, but we're determined to make a difference.
  • Supporting and developing local community planning structures.
  • Developing the skills and capacity of individuals and community groups.
  • Engage with the community to ascertain community needs and aspirations and to promote opportunities.
  • Offering advice or referral to individuals presenting with unmet need.
  • Managing community spaces and supporting communities to develop provision in those facilities.
