ECO Stars Dundee member: National Express Dundee 2*

The major local bus operator in Dundee, National Express Dundee operates a comprehensive high frequency network of local bus services around the city. Their fleet of 115 buses, which includes nine hybrid-electric double-deckers has been signed up to the ECO Stars scheme and has been awarded a two star rating. 

National Express Dundee Managing Director Phil Smith said: “We’re delighted to work alongside the city council in their efforts to reduce pollution in Dundee.  “We’re proud of the contribution our hybrid fleet makes to improving air quality in the city, but there’s no room for complacency – this initiative will certainly encourage us to continue to strive for best practice in fuel management and the limitation of emissions, which will of course also reduce our costs and our environmental impact.”
