Recycle for Dundee

Recycle for Dundee
Phase 1 of the NEW Recycling & Waste Collection Service started in March 2015 in parts of the West End, Broughty Ferry, Dryburgh and Gowrie Park.  Phase 2 began on 9th November 2015 in parts of Lochee, Charleston, Menzieshill and the West End. For full details on the areas included please view the street lists and maps. For details of this service, copies of the leaflets and further information, please visit the webpage.

Further rollouts of this service have been temporarily suspended to allow us to consider aligning our service with the national collection model outlined in the Scottish Government's recently launched Household Recycling Charter & Code of Practice. All households who have not yet received enhanced recycling collections will do so within the next year once our appraisal of the national model is complete but in the interim, we will continue to rollout the new WEEKLY FOOD WASTE collection service across the city. The final phase of the food waste rollout will launch on 27th February 2017 in parts of the City Centre, Docks, Perth Road Lanes, Stobswell, Hilltown, Lawside and Coldside.

The map below show the areas included in this latest phase of the rollout:

All households being offered the new service will receive a postcard notifying them of the start date and providing dates for the forthcoming "drop in" sessions where they can speak to a member of the team to get further information.
