In the case of application No (ii) by Glenda Logue in respect of the Albert Bar, 57/59 Albert Street, the Board gave consideration to an objection which had been submitted by the Chief Constable.

Thereafter having heard an agent on behalf of the applicant who led evidence by putting questions to witnesses who were thereafter questioned by the Chief Constable's representative and members of the Board, the Board agreed that the application be refused.

In the case of application No (iii) by Palma Ollandini in respect of 181/193 Perth Road, the Board noted that the application had been lodged late.

After hearing an agent on behalf of the applicant, the Board accepted a plea of inadvertence and remitted consideration of the application to a special meeting.

In the case of application No (iv) by Scottish & Newcastle Plc in respect of Huxters, 34 Reform Street, the Board heard an agent on behalf of the applicant who gave an assurance that all the works required by the Environmental Health Department had been completed and thereafter granted the application.

In the case of application No (v) by Ian Whyte in respect of The Doghouse, 13 Brown Street, the Board heard the Building Control Officer who intimated that works had been carried out without the benefit of a warrant.

After hearing an agent on behalf of the applicant who gave an assurance that the part of the premises in which works had been carried out would not be used until a completion certificate had been issued, agreed that the application be granted.

There being no objections to the remaining applications, the Board granted licences.
