II FINANCE SUB-COMMITTEE OF TAYSIDE CONTRACTS JOINT COMMITTEE

It was reported that Tayside Contracts Joint Committee at their meeting held on 15th May, 2000 agreed to establish a Finance Sub-Committee to consider and approve the Annual Abstract of Accounts and that the membership would comprise the Convener, the Vice-Convener and Vice-Convener elect together with one member from each constituent Council.

Councillor Shimi, seconded by Councillor Sturrock, moved that Councillor Regan be appointed.

Councillor Sawers, seconded by Councillor Petrie, moved that Councillor Corrigan be appointed.

On a division, there voted for Councillor Regan - Lord Provost Wright, Councillors de Gernier, Letford, Ward, Shimi, Presswood, Regan, Farquhar, Luke, Kemp, Sturrock, Glen, Rolfe, Wallace, Scott and Borthwick (16); and for Councillor Corrigan - Councillors Richard Beattie, Dawson, Sawers, FitzPatrick, Petrie, Guild, Corrigan, Dave Beattie, Fordyce and Bowes (10) - whereupon Councillor Regan was appointed.

III COSLA MEMBERS NETWORK ON CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND TRADING STANDARDS

It was reported that the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities had invited the City Council to appoint a representative to serve on the above.

Councillor Shimi, seconded by Councillor Sturrock, moved that Councillor Glen be appointed.

Councillor Sawers, seconded by Councillor FitzPatrick, moved that Councillor Petrie be appointed.

On a division, there voted for Councillor Glen - Lord Provost Wright, Councillors de Gernier, Letford, Ward, Shimi, Presswood, Regan, Farquhar, Luke, Kemp, Sturrock, Glen, Rolfe, Wallace and Scott (15); and for Councillor Petrie - Councillors Richard Beattie, Dawson, Sawers, FitzPatrick, Petrie, Guild, Corrigan, Dave Beattie, Fordyce, Bowes and Borthwick (11) - whereupon Councillor Glen was appointed.
