I REVIEW OF ADVERTISING ON TAXIS
After discussion, it was agreed to recommend to the Licensing Committee that the policy on advertising on taxis be extended to allow full livery advertising subject to the artwork being approved in advance.
II INFORMATION ON TAXI SIGNS
It was agreed to recommend to the Committee that Taxi Licence Holders be permitted to display website and e-mail addresses on the rear of taxi roof signs.
III SOILING OF TAXIS
It was agreed that the views of the Procurator Fiscal be sought in relation to enforcing a possible charge for soiling of taxis and that a report be submitted to the next meeting of the Liaison Committee.
IV DISABILITY AWARENESS AND CUSTOMER CARE
It was agreed that proposals from the trade representatives for including conditions on Taxi Drivers' Licences in relation to Disability Awareness and Customer Care be submitted to the next meeting.
V TAXI TEST
It was agreed that a sub-committee of the group meet with the Plan and Vehicle Manager to discuss the taxi test and the introduction of the increased frequency of testing.
