II THE FOOD SAFETY ACT 1990 - ICE CREAM (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 1948/1970 (As Amended) - APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF PREMISES
The Committee approved the following applications for registration of premises for the manufacture, storage and/or sale of ice cream:
(i) F. Jamal, Westport Store, 6 Westport, Dundee, DD1 5EP
(ii) Davies Caf, 54 High Street, Lochee, Dundee, DD2 3AW
(iii) Posh Nosh Caf, 57/59 High Street, Lochee, Dundee
(iv) A. Mohammed, Pricecrackers, 81 Fintry Road, Dundee
III PURCHASE OF WASTE SHREDDER
It was reported for information and record purposes that, in view of the timescales involved, the Directors of Environmental and Consumer Protection and Finance, in consultation with the Convener, Major Opposition Group spokesperson and Minority Group spokesperson, had authorised the purchase of a Hammel Shredder from Wilkie Recycling Systems in the sum of 115,000, to be utilised at the Baldovie Waste Transfer Station as part of the Councils waste minimisation strategy.
