The minute of meeting of the Audit Sub-Committee of 30th May, 2000, a copy of which is appended hereto was submitted for information and record purposes.
II CAPITAL EXPENDITURE MONITORING 2000/01

After considering Report No. 460-2000 by the Director of Finance appraising the members of the latest position regarding the Council's expenditure programme for 2000/2001, the Committee noted the contents of the Report.
The Convener agreed that the undernoted items be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No. 51 (3)(b) in view of the timescales involved.
III REVENUE MONITORING 2000/2001

There was submitted Report No.444-2000 by the Director of Finance providing members with an analysis of the 2000/01 Projected Revenue Outturn as at 30th June, 2000 monitored against the adjusted 2000/01 Revenue Budget.
The Committee instructed the Director of Finance in consultation with all Chief Officers of the Council to continue to monitor the Council's 2000/2001 Projected Revenue Outturn and to use his best endeavours to ensure that the final Outturn for the financial year was at or below the approved Revenue Budget.
In addition, the Committee noted the overall General Fund 2000/2001 Projected Revenue Outturn as at 30th June, 2000 showed an overspend of 6,000 against the adjusted 2000/2001 Revenue Budget and that the Housing Revenue Account projected a 2000/2001 spend in line with Budget.
IV RELIEF OF RATES - CHARITY RELIEF

There was submitted Report No.483-2000 by the Director of Finance seeking authorisation to grant Charity Relief on the undernoted Non Domestic properties. The Committee approved accordingly.
