II NEIGHBOURHOOD SERVICES SERVICE PLAN 2021/2024 - PROGRESS REPORT
There was submitted Report No 6-2022 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services providing a mid-year progress report on the Service Plan for Neighbourhood Services for the period 2021/2024.
The Committee agreed to approve the Service Plan Progress Report appended to the report.
III RECYCLING IMPROVEMENT FUND - PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL ROUTE OPTIMISATION SOFTWARE AND IN CAB UNITS
There was submitted Report No 9-2022 by the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Services seeking approval for the purchase of additional route optimisation software and in cab units.
The Committee agreed to approve the purchase of additional route optimisation software and in cab units.
The Committee further agreed to direct award the purchase of additional route optimisation software and in cab units to Integrated Skills Limited (ISL), Leeds, via their partnership with Bramble Hub. ISL provide existing software and in cab units to both Waste Management and the Roads Maintenance Partnership. Corporate Procurement had advised that the award could be made via the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework RM3821 Lot 1b, and if approval was granted, installation would be completed by 31st March, 2022.
IV TENDERS RECEIVED
There was submitted Report No 8-2022 by the Head of Design and Property detailing tenders received and requesting a decision thereon:-
(a) DUNMORE STREET (2) - FIRE DAMAGE ROOF REPAIRS
The Committee agreed to accept a negotiated offer from Construction Services in the sum of 41,862.15, together with allowances of 4,000, giving a total expenditure of 45,862.15.
(b) BAFFIN STREET STEPS
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer Kilmac in the sum of 39,155, together with allowances of 5,000, giving a total expenditure of 39,155.
(c) 56 BALGOWAN AVENUE - NEW RETAINING WALL
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer from Dundee Plant in the sum of 23,116.35, together with allowances of 8,623.27, giving a total expenditure of 31,739.62.
(d) SEABRAES VIEWPOINT RENEWAL
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer Dundee Plant in the sum of 89,108.61, together with allowances of 36,891.39 giving a total expenditure of 126,000.
(e) MITCHELL STREET REAR PATHS AND STEPS IMPROVEMENTS
The Committee agreed to accept the offer with the highest-ranking score for cost and quality from Dundee Plant in the sum of 124,287.46, together with allowances of 25,512.54, giving a total expenditure of 150,000.
(f) HILLTOWN COURT AND BONNETHILL COURT PHASE 5 TENDER - WALL REPAIR AND STEPS REPLACEMENT
The Committee agreed to accept the offer with the highest-ranking score for cost and quality from T N Gilmartin in the sum of 176,710, together with allowances of 23,290, giving a total expenditure of 200,000.
